The High Park Diamonds made history this year as the first-ever Majors girls rep team in High Park. They had an incredible season, showing grit, resilience, and confidence every time they stepped on the field. From dominant wins to hard-fought battles, the team’s powerful play and steady determination carried them to multiple championships and a remarkable overall record.

SEASON HIGHLIGHT: Taking home the title at the High Park Girls Summer Classic was truly the pinnacle of the year. Not only did the Diamonds rise to the occasion in front of friends and family, but they also had the honour of competing in — and winning — the inaugural edition of the tournament. Playing on home turf, with the stands filled with familiar faces cheering them on, made the victory even more meaningful. The girls showcased their best baseball all weekend, blending power, resilience, and teamwork to capture a championship that will always be remembered as the first of its kind in High Park history.
One unforgettable moment came at the Scott Tokessy Tournament in Kanata, when our pitcher Brooke threw an immaculate inning — striking out all three batters on just nine pitches. It was a display of focus and dominance that had the entire team fired up. Equally special was seeing the way our team rallied around each other: despite being sidelined with an injury, one of our players came out to cheer and support the Diamonds throughout the tournament, showing the true spirit and togetherness of this group.
Every single player on the Diamonds showed incredible growth this season — sharpening their skills, building confidence, and coming together as one cohesive and dominant team. More importantly, they always lifted each other up, celebrating the highs and pushing through the challenges side by side. At the end of the day, that spirit of teamwork, support, and resilience is exactly what sports are all about.
