The Knights outlasted the Bisons in the Minors division finals, winning the the series 3-2 with a dramatic victory in Game 5 (stopping a bottom of the 6th inning surge from the Bisons).
The Knights won the Dick Perry Memorial Trophy as regular season champions with a 16-4-1 record, securing first place on the last day of the season. The Knights held on to either the 2nd or 3rd spot in the standings for the first half of the season and then steadily climbed to the #1 spot at just the right time.

In the 1st round of the playoffs, the Knights won the series 2-0 against the Leafs. In round 2, the Cannons put up a fight but the Knights’ strong hitting overwhelmed the opposition, winning the series 2-0. They went into the finals riding a combined undefeated streak of 8 games (4 games in regular season, 4 in playoffs). In the best-of-5 finals series, the Knights took a 2-0 series lead only to watch the Bisons storm back and win games 3 and 4. Game 5 came down to the wire with the Knights holding off a late 6th inning charge.
