High Park players stand out!

This past weekend saw the High Park rep teams dominate in tournaments across Ontario. Within those amazing team accomplishments there were a number of individual feats.

The 11’s rep team take home the championship at the Windsor Central Little League tournament. In their dominating 16-9 win in the finals, Olivia‘s bat was scorching! She hit a single, double, triple, and drove in 5 RBIs to take home the tournament MVP award!

Olivia was 1 of only 2 girls to play in the Majors division tournament. Coupled with her outstanding play, this is a remarkable achievement and the whole High Park community is proud of her!

The High Park 12’s rep team took home the tournament championship in Brockville with some outstanding hitting from our sluggers. None were more successful than Baxter who hit a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 1st inning of the final vs. Mirabel Diamond to spark a dominating 14-1 win. Congrats to Baxter on his first home run of the season and earning Player of the Game award.

The High Park 12’s rep team put on a pitching clinic during the Brockville tournament. In game 3 of the tournament vs. Oakville Whitecaps the pitching was outstanding, resulting in a combined NO HITTER from James, Jack, and Daniel in a 8-0 win.

The High Park Diamonds Majors team made it to the finals of the OMG girls tournament in Etobicoke. Emma pitched a complete game in a 9-3 victory over the Royal York Cardinals. And Gia pitched a complete game as well with an amazing stats line: 14 batters, 49 pitches, 0 runs, 9 strike outs, 0 walks!
