On Friday, May 30th, Oliver of the White Sox hit a solo home run clear over left field in a game against the Orioles. It was Oliver’s first out-of-the-park home run of his Little League career and the first home run of the regular season at High Park Little League.
Luckily, our club photographer happened to at the White Sox vs. Orioles game and was able to capture Oliver celebrating his home run and posing with the home run ball (see below).
On June 1st, James of the Expos hit a dinger over the fence on Sunday morning against the Athletics, the second of James’s time at High Park.
Not to be overlooked, Jack from the Cubs hit a homer in the preseason (see below).
On June 15th, we had our first t-ball home run of the season by Ezra of the Dodgers (see below)!
On June 29th, at the Brockville Little League Tournament, Baxter from the High Park 12’s rep team hit a 220-foot monster over the fence during the finals vs. Mirabel Diamond on the way to 14-1 victory (see below).
On July 6th, Oliver became the first repeat member of the Home Run Club when he hit a dinger vs. Oakville for the High Park 12’s rep team.
On July 8th, Sasha of the Athletics hit a no-doubt home run (over 220 feet!) and repeated the feat again on July 11th for the High Park 12’s rep team against Oakville in the District 1 finals (which High Park won!).
