High Park Little League welcomes player and adult umpires, veterans or beginners, each season at both the T-Ball and Little League divisions.
Umpiring provides for a chance to “give back” to the organization and earn some spending money. The league provides competitive games rates and regularly provides two back-to-back game shifts in the baseball division. An umpire orientation clinic for new umpires is held each Spring before the start of regular season. Best part-time job in the park!

T-Ball and Instructional
- Prospective umpires must be at least 11 years-old and have graduated from the Minor Division of High Park Little League.
- Prospective umpires must attend a training session run by High Park Little League to be eligible to umpire.
- Umpires are awarded one game per shift.
Little League (Minor and Major Division)
- Prospective umpires must be at least 13 years-old to be eligible.
- Prospective umpires must complete an online and in person training program run by Ontario Baseball Association, each year that they wish to umpire. Once training is complete, they can register to umpire at High Park by contacting our umpire coordinator at [email protected] to be added to the roster.
- Umpires are awarded 2 games in each shift which will consist generally of one minor game and one major game.
Player Safety
The safety of all players and umpires at High Park Little League is a priority for the entire league. The Umpire Coordinator is available to provide support and answer any questions throughout the season, as well as look out for our umpires’ best interests and assure they are treated with respect at all times.
